California Building Standards Code Adoption Cycle Process

The deadline for state agencies to submit proposed code changes to CBSC is
December 1, 2019. The proposed code changes are for the adoption of regulations into the California Building Standards Code, California Code of Regulations, Title 24. The proposed code change submittals, including the text of the proposed changes and a detailed justification, and the phases of the 2019 code adoption cycle are available through the links on the right. These code changes will result in supplements to the 2019 edition of Title 24, effective July 1, 2021.
